About Benjamin Ligan
Discipline and Long-Term Thinking
Benjamin Ligan is a marketing graduate of The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business with a minor in personal finance and is currently based in Charlotte, North Carolina. His professional experience includes Sarbanes-Oxley internal audit compliance and client service operations, supported by E-Money and Holistiplan certifications and successful completion of the Securities Industry Essentials exam.
During his time at Ohio State, Benjamin Ligan balanced academic responsibilities with meaningful campus involvement. He served as treasurer for Buckeye Buddies, a student organization that supports young people with developmental disabilities through structured recreational and social activities. This role strengthened his attention to organization, accountability, and service-driven leadership.
He also competed for four years on the Ohio State Men’s Club Volleyball team, traveling nationally and contributing to two national runner-up finishes. Athletics reinforced his belief in consistency, preparation, and incremental improvement, principles that continue to shape his professional approach.
Outside of work, Benjamin Ligan maintains an active lifestyle centered on strength training and endurance running and is preparing for the Charleston Half Marathon. He remains involved with his church community in uptown Charlotte and is focused on building a long-term career in wealth management grounded in discipline, clarity, and thoughtful planning.
